The time has come to do so; please read through everything and take a look at the photos I’ve attached:
In NOVEMBER 2025, I bought a THERMOS LIGHT & COMPACT 1L from Amazon Spain.
Unfortunately for me and many other users, it only lasted three months because it developed a leak inside.
When this happens, you’ll notice a rust-like stain (brown in colour) inside, and when you refill it with any liquid, if you hold the flask in your hand
you’ll feel that it’s either very cold or very hot on the outside; this is because the liquid leaks through the puncture into the outer layer, causing it to lose its heat or cold quickly.
Although Amazon.es did not manufacture the product, they acknowledged the fault
and refunded the purchase price.
A few days later, I decided to make the same purchase again, but this time in Germany,
from the BERG FREUNDE shop, who sent the product to me in Spain perfectly packaged,
well protected and on time. I ordered the same model, the THERMOS LIGHT & COMPACT 1L,
and three months later, the same thing happened again!!
The flask sprang a leak, a stain appeared inside, and it no longer manages to keep liquids at the right temperature for even two hours.
I’ve always trusted this brand for its quality, durability and guarantee...
I have several models: a 1-litre one I bought in 2000, which has been in constant use for over 25 years and still works as well as it did on the first day, and another 1.2-litre model I bought 3 or 4 years ago, which also maintains the temperature of liquids for many hours.
As my grandfather used to say: It seems they don’t make things like they used to.
Two purchases of the same brand, in two different countries, two headaches.
I NO LONGER RECOMMEND ANYONE TO BUY PRODUCTS FROM THIS MANUFACTURER.
